This project apply the NodeMCU ESP8266 as it is a microcontroller embbed together with Wi-Fi
along with four sensors DHT22, Ultrasonic, Soil Moisture and pH sensor.

This blog shall shows progress report/logbook on my Final Year Project.

Week 18

 Changes of Wireless Technology in the project.

On the first week of semester 7, a discussion with my supervisor are done. It is come to the end of the meeting, that we decided we could not proceed the project using the LoRa Technology. Although this technology are the most suited to the scope of my project but due to the pandemic of Covid-19 in Malaysia, it issues some problem for us researchers.  

Due to this issues, I have decided to implement a well-known component which are suggested by Mr. Raziff himself called NodeMCU ESP8266. This component is well know as it is a microcontroller embbed together with transmission of wireless network, Wi-Fi. I first develop a knowledge on NodeMCU ESP8266 when I was in semester 4 in a course Application Interface Controller that was taught by Mr. Safyzan. 

I was familiar with NodeMCU ESP8266 so I decided that I would just proceed to use this component as the wireless technology that I would develop in my project. Plus, the coding use for NodeMCU ESP8266 and Arduino UNO are just the same. I just need to insert the ESP8266 library into this coding to enable the NodeMCU to function.
